I am a landscape and cityscape photographer born in rainy Seattle and raised in sunny Portugal. My signature style is dreamy, crisp and often moody.
Nature is my passion. It was my love and devotedness for our planet that turned me into both a photographer and a scientist.
Nature plays a big role in my photography but my inspiration comes from many places. I get as excited for architectural designs and new cityscape views as I do for astrophotography and mountainscapes. I love moody weather. Colorful sunrises and foggy days are my favorite.
I have always loved photography. I got into photography as a young girl while playing with my mother's film camera. After many years, I bought my first full-frame camera, explored the road of self-teaching and started doing it professionally from 2014 onward.
My work is often featured on the local news outlets, has been published in both lifestyle and photography magazines, exhibited in fine art galleries, and has been recognized in contests such as the prestige National Geographic Travel Photographer of the Year.
When I'm not in the woods or behind a lab bench, you can find me traveling the world, my camera loves to see new places and I love sharing them with you!
