Standing Strong
Heavy wind and rain battered the southern coast when Storm Ciara came roaring through the UK. Like many coastal towns, Newhaven experienced Ciara’s fury head-on. Gusts and downpours raged through the streets, and on the shore, waves blanketed the sea wall and drenched the lighthouse, despite it's ever-shining beacon. But the city and the light kept going; and, much like the people of this country, they stood strong through it all.
